Helen has been a practicing artist since graduating from NCAD with a First in 1990 In 2017 she will graduate from NCAD again this time from the Masters Programme.

In 1990 she moved to Kerry where she now lives and began exhibiting regularly with the riverrun gallery Dublin & subsequently the Hallward gallery Dublin.

She is also an educator, teaching Painting in Tech Amergin Arts & Adult Education Centre Waterville co Kerry.

She has exhibited extensively in Ireland work in many public and private collections in Ireland and abroad including:
Allied Irish Banks; First Active Building Society. The Hunt museum University of Limerick; Standard Life;, Department of Justice Equality and Law Reform; The Revenue Commissioners; The Four Courts; Manley, O'Reilly & Associates; The Royal Hospital, Donnybrook; The Irish Society for Contemporary Art; I.F.S.C.; University College Dublin, Dublin City University ;Dermot Desmond etc.

Helen Richmond was born in Dublin Ireland. Upon graduating from the national college of Art & Design in 1990. She moved to Cahersiveen Co Kerry from where she has since conducted her art practice.

She resumed her studies at NCAD in 2015 & has just completed a Master's Degree (summer 2017)

She has used this study opportunity to deepen and broaden her approach to research methods, resulting in the development of exciting new directions for her work which are outlined in her Artist Statement.

Her professional career spans from 1990 she has had numerous solo exhibitions nationally and she has work in many public and private collections..
